Charles E. Bishop (1921-2012) was chancellor of the university from July 1970 to July 1974, overseeing a major academic reorganization on campus during his tenure. This collection of photographs depicts Bishop speaking with students, both formally and informally, and with other members of the university faculty and administration and state officials, including President Wilson H. Elkins, State Comptroller Louis L. Goldstein, Coach Charles "Lefty" Driesell, and Governor Marvin Mandel. A preliminary inventory is available.
